Our Licensing Team delivers quick and cost effective legal solutions on a wide range of licensing issues.
We are currently advising clients on the appropriate action they need to take to comply with the 2003 Licensing Law which came into effect on Thursday 24th November 2005.
The new law aims to provide increased flexibility in trading hours for leisure operators whilst providing greater transparency in the licensing system for the wider community.
Everyone who sells alcohol, puts on entertainment , or serves hot food after 11pm must apply for a new licence to be able to trade under the new laws.
It is imperative that companies who have not yet applied for a new licence take action to avoid being prosecuted or their business closed down.
